In 2022, we commissioned GreenFlex to perform a Simplified Life Cycle Analysis (SLCA) of our recycling process and the recycled composite material issued from this process.
The objectives of this SLCA were to
- Evaluate the environmental footprint of the recycled composite material produced by Fairmat (compounds and laminates)
- Compare, from an environmental point of view, this recycled material with:
- Other primary materials substitutable by the Fairmat material
- Other end-of-life processes typically used for waste recycled by Fairmat
